Theta Chi is one the of oldest and largest men’s fraternities. Founded at one of our country’s premier military universities, Norwich University, the discipline, morality and sense of duty expected there carries over into the expectations we hold our members to today. Accountability, truth, temperance and tolerance are values to be displayed by each and every Theta Chi.
Our fraternity stands out against the rest in many ways. For example, instead of donating our philanthropic funds to a national organization, we choose to give back the Columbia area. We base ourselves on “extending the assisting hand;” therefore, our philanthropic beneficiaries are local, charitable organizations that focus solely on the betterment of the Columbia and mid-Missouri area. Theta Chi’s founding fathers worked from the very beginning to prevent and speak out against hazing by superior officers at Norwich. Our chapter continues to uphold this standard by prohibiting hazing of any kind.
We are one of the fastest growing chapters, not only on Mizzou’s campus but also among others in Theta Chi. We need honest, quality men who are willing leaders that want to be involved, both on campus and in the community.
